For BBQ Boat Parasol Fabrics
The BBQ boat parasol fabrics we use are manufactured with solution dyed acrylic fiber. Our folding parasol is less vulnerable to UV radiation and the colors will remain permanent and bright for many years.
It is a process which adds the pigments before the fibers are extruded, this allows the color to be mixed into the solution thoroughly, bringing the color all the way through the fiber once it is extruded, creating a colorfast fabric much stronger than that obtained by dyeing the thread.

Sunbrella manufacturing process enables them to control product quality – from fiber to finished fabric – in the facilities.
Before they begin spinning, the Sunbrella team makes sure that the fiber meets the guarantee requirements in order to manufacture the highest quality thread, which will be the key to the fabric. All their raw materials are subject to a strict quality control in the laboratory.
During the weaving process, controls are carried out to prevent mistakes in the designed arrangement of threads. Besides, all the looms are constantly checked in order to ensure the best performance and quality.
In the finishing process, all the steps are strictly controlled in order to guarantee that, from the first meter to the last, the fabric will have the same properties and will meet the required specifications.
Throughout the manufacturing process, the main objective is to ensure that the customer will receive a flawless fabric. Therefore, during the whole process and final controls, all data are registered, allowing the team to continue our constant improvement in all the range.
Water Repellency
The marine fabrics are designed and treated to obtain the highest values. Spray Test is used to determine fabric resistance to surface wetting in a scale of 0 to 100. The different varieties of Sunbrella fabrics obtain the highest score (100 over 100) thanks to its excellent water repellency treatment.
